Prague, 22 November 2011. "Surfing" in web doesn´t belong just to companies and authorities to the important items of everyday life. But just in the corporate context today first single browser have become powerful and complex software applications that are subject to various attacks from the Internet.

These risk eliminates the Sirrix browser efficiently and easily. The browser, including Internet access, is encapsulated in a virtual machine and is thus isolated from the workplace. The user still has full web functionality, can use active contents and surf safely in the Internet.

The "Browser-in-the-Box" counteracts the increasing threat from the Internet through the use of modern virtualization technologies. The Internet access is granted through a "guest room”, in which the browser operates. This "guest room" is in isolation from the basis system of the network or computer system. By connecting to the Internet this occurs neither a danger of downloads from the Internet by spyware or actual attacks on the main operating system, because these from the outside – out of the Internet - is not visible. Also all downloads from the Internet are checked for their safety, before storing in the main operating system. The "Browser in the Box" can thus functions as a secure lock data with these help the users can use modern web technologies without any restrictions such as Web 2.0 content. Even an infection of the browser is removed from any browser start by returning to a certified initial state.
