- FIDIS: Future of Identity in the Information Society. In with the FIDIS project, Sirrix AG establishes a “network of excellence” in cooperation with 23 further European research institutions and companies. The multinational and multidisciplinary network intends to develop a better understanding for the contribution of identity management systems in developing a fair European information society.
- UniSTeP - Unified Secure Real time Telecommunication. The goal of this project is to create an open, universal communication platform. In the existing heterogeneous network landscape, this platform is independent from specific equipments and services, to guarantee secure end-to-end communication between arbitrary entities.
- PERSEUS Secure Software Layer. PERSEUS is a security architecture that offers a security kernel while allowing the usage of existing applications conveniently: The design provides all necessary services to enable end-users to securely perform software installations.
- EMSCB: European Multilaterally Secure Computing Base. The EMSCB Project aims at developing a trustworthy computing platform with open standards that solves many security problems of conventional platforms. The platform deploys hardware functionalities provided by Trusted Computing, a security kernel based on microkernel and an efficient migration of existing operating systems.
- TruCom. TruCom is the current development project establishing a trustworthy mobile DRM-Platform based on modern Trusted-Computing technologies. Basing on the PERSEUS security architecture, the TruCom project represents a by now unique OS platform. This security platform ensures the enforcement of predefined security policies - for the provider, as well as for the end-user.
- Verisoft XT. Verisoft XT is a long-term research project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The main goal of the project is the pervasive formal verification of computer systems to ensure correct funcionality especially in high-security areas.
