For the professional use in centrally managed IT environments the enhanced variant is an ideal solution. This variant transparently integrates a secured tunnel between the BitBox browser and the central Internet gateway in order to reliably separate between the Internet and the Intranet. While applications on the client machine can only access the internal corporate network, the "Browser in the Box"-Browser is tunneled out of the client machine while being isolated from all other client applications. It is thus the sole application enabled for Internet access.
Furthermore a central management system is provided enabling the simple administration of security policies and configurations as well as the generation, certification and distribution of the necessary guest images.
The workstation with its base operating system in the enhanced version of "Browser in the Box" will be completely disconnected from the Internet. Only the virtual machine with the browser has encapsulated tunnel connection to the Internet.
