For our project team in Bochum, we are looking for several

IT System Architects (TH/Uni)

You have

• Earned an excellent degree (MS or Promotion) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or have a comparable background
• Extensive experience in software engineering and/or the design and development of complex software systems
• Knowledge in cryptography, operating systems and/or communication protocols to round out your profile as an optimal candidate
• Strong analytical and conceptual competence
• Fluent spoken and written English

Your tasks:

• Collaboration on external customer and internal development projects
• Develop functional and security-relevant requirements for your project and derive use cases from business processes
• Design an appropriate architecture and implement the associated software components
• Design and develop in interaction with both hardware and software (at the kernel, OS and application levels)
• Work within the areas of applied cryptography, operating systems and/or telecommunications
