osiris4 is a high-performance and -configurable Content-Management-Server. It provides main features such as easy extensibility and portability as well as complex opportunites for rights management at high reliability and speed.

osiris4 is not limited to web content management, but also provides features that are independent from the way of access or the used protocols. However, osiris main operational area is the management of websites.

osiris4 consists of a couple of basic elements, the so calles osiris4core. Main components here are user management and module management. These osiris4core modules are not visible for the user. They control internal processes, are responsible for content security and operate as interfaces for all other modules.

osiris4 has a couple of standard modules, such as hierarchical structure of sites, web-based administration and and a WYSIWYG-Editor based on Internet Explorer.

osiris4 has an effective management module divided into element modules and document manager. To simplify the process all standard modules use these rights with the same titles and policies.
