Saarbrücken, 10 May 2011, The virtual surf environment "Browser in the Box" has initially been developed by Sirrix on behalf of the German Federal Office for Information Security for use by all federal authorities. Now, after the successful completion of an evaluation program with pilot customers. the solution is open for everyone and enables users to browse the Internet with confidence.

The secure web browser "Browser in the Box", developed by Sirrix, wins the prestigious TeleTrusT Innovation Award 2011. "Browser in the Box" convinces the high-carat award jury. The TeleTrusT Innovation Award was presented at the Information Security Solutions Europe 2011 in Prague.

Fraunhofer SIT and Sirrix sign cooperation agreement

Saarbrücken, 10 October 2011. In future Sirrix AG and the Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology in Darmstadt will work together. Today the Chairman of Sirrix Ammar Alkassar and the director of Fraunhofer Institute Professor Michael Waidner have declared this cooperation at the it-sa in Nürnberg. Focus of joint activities is the development of security solutions for smartphones. The first collaboration is a combination from the BizzTrust solution (developed by Fraunhofer SIT) with the Sirrix Turaya MobileDesk solution for mobile devices.

Saarbrücken, 6 October 2011, Sirrix AG expands its executive board with the sales professional Markus Bernhammer. Prior to Sirrix Mr. Bernhammer was the managing director of Sophos Germany and now he becomes the Executive Board of Sirrix AG, responsible for sales and marketing activities, on October 1, 2011th.

Saarbrücken, 07 June 2011. The former head of Arcor will take the Chairman of the Supervisory of Sirrix. Hans-Joachim Kraemer is appointed to the deputy chairman.
