HARALD STÖBER,
Chairman of Supervisory Board

Harald Stöber is one of the major pioneers in mobile communication and has influcenced substantialy the emerging of the ICT area in Germany. Most recently, he was Supervisory Board Chairman and 11 years previously chief executive of Germany's second largest telco provider Arcor. Since 1990, he was invloved in building Germany's mobile infrastructure as board member and Executive Vize-President Sales with the former Mannesmann D2 Mobilfunk GmbH, Düsseldorf.

As baord member of Bitkom and VATM, Harald Stöber has influenced the development of the ICT industry for decades.

Harald Stöber, born in 1952, decided after his studies in electrical engineering in Aachen for postgraduate studies in economics. From 1980 to 1982 he worked as a research associate of the Department of Industrial Engineering at the RWTH Aachen. In 1982 he was the management trainee in the Mannesmann AG, Düsseldorf.
